| Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca is a multi-economic dance group open to city-wide participants, currently has 3 groups that meet once a week. Skill level include advanced young adults, intermediate, advanced juniors, and beginner levels. A positive approach to this art form empowers members with knowledge and pride of their heritage. By encouraging parental participation as a formula for success, the children are taught COMMITMENT, SELF-DISCIPLINE and TEAM SPIRIT. A common theme found in the foundation of the organization is communication. It is through this concept that all relationships succeed and prosper and that the shows presented by Mexico Azteca have earned the group local acclaim as well as a positive reputation that precedes them. A typical day for the dancers includes warm-up exercises, technical step training, composition and creative expression exercises. And most important of all...FUN!!! |
